# FDP Connect by automaxis

> FDP Connect is export-documentation, DGFT-incentive and trade-compliance software for India's cross-border trade (EXIM), built by automaxis. It drafts and files trade documents, recovers export incentives, and issues independently verifiable records. It serves six trade roles from one platform: exporters, importers, customs house agents (CHAs), freight forwarders, banks/trade-finance and marine insurers.

## What it does
- **Electronic Bill of Lading (eBL)**: MLETR-aligned transferable records. Issue, endorse, surrender and lock title electronically, notarised on a permissioned ledger. India has not yet enacted MLETR; the Bills of Lading Act 2025 did not itself grant eBLs legal equivalence, so statutory recognition in India is still emerging (a Digital Trade Facilitation Bill was in draft as of 2026).
- **Verifiable documents**: every Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading and invoice is cryptographically signed and anchored on a permissioned trade ledger (BharatTradeNet), tied to a legal identity (LEI / ISO 17442), and verifiable by any party against the chain with no login.
- **RoBoCo automation**: a browser agent that files on government portals (trade.gov.in, ICEGATE) in the user's own session, with a human confirming the final submit. For Certificates of Origin it auto-detects the FTA across 22 agreements (incl. India-UK CETA), resolves the origin criterion per HS code (WO / CTC / RVC / PSR with de-minimis and cumulation), routes to the right issuing agency (EIC / MPEDA / Textiles Committee, or a chamber for non-preferential), and files all 7 portal steps in a guaranteed 99 seconds.
- **Tug (AI)**: reads documents, drafts the next one, and flags cross-document mismatches before filing.
- **Integration**: connects to Odoo, ICEGATE and existing ERPs; Odoo stays the system of record while FDP runs the EXIM layer, syncing both ways.
